Candace Graves Kelly– MWF 12:30 Accounting II 18 February 2013 Ethical Dilemma No. 2 In this ethical dilemma Danny Bern has favorably projected the sales and profits for a new computer system for the company that he works for. Because of the promising projections that Danny made the company decided to expand that the production of that computer system. And changed the employees around to different areas because of his predictions. When Danny rechecked his computations a couple months later he found an error. He isn’t sure what he should do. He could tell the company about his mistake, but Danny finds out that the sales are exceeding his projections so the profits with probably materialize close to his projections in the end, so he knows if he didn’t tell anyone about the error no one would notice. The stakeholders in this situation are the company that Danny works for, because they are unaware of the error that Danny made and they are in jeopardy of losing money if the system hadn’t of done as well as it did.
