Candace Graves Kelly– MWF 12:30 Accounting II 22 January 2013 Ethical Dilemma No. 1 In this ethical dilemma Joe Catmus is going on two job interviews his senior year of college. Both companies that are giving the interviews have offered to pay for his out-of-pocket expenses during his trip. But the companies are unaware that Joe will be going on two interviews that day. When telling the businesses what his expenses were for the trip he tells both of them the total amount for his whole trip, so when he receives two checks, one from each company, in the mail for $244. This is two times the amount that he really should have received if her would have been honest. The stakeholder’s in this situation are the two businesses that interviewed Joe, because they have unknowingly paid twice as much for his trip expenses than they should have. The ethical issue in this case is honesty. Joe made the decision to not cut the price in half for both of the company’s expenses, and instead took double what he
