Product and Brand strategy: Product Penang is a one of the oldest but an advanced lifestyle island in Malaysia. It offers you such a variety of culture mixed with people from different Races living peacefully together under the theme of One Malaysia. Historical heritage : One of the oldest towns in the Penang dated back in 17th century; Sir Francis light founded this turtle shaped island in 1771(iproperty, 2012). George Town the center of city is full with a lot of historical buildings like Khoo Kongsi, Kapitan Keling Mosque, Sri Mariamman Temple, Fort Cornwallis and Wat Chaiya Mangkalaram, the Buddhist temple with one of the world's longest reclining statues of the Buddha (iproperty, 2012). The Blue mansion of Chang Fatt Tze is also another historical spot to see, Oscar award winner French movie "Indochine" was shoot in blue mansion. The Khoo Kongsi is a clan house built by master craftsmen from China; featuring a magnificent hall embellished with intricate carvings and richly ornamented beams of the finest wood. This unique architectural heritage gives Georgetown its charming appeal and distinctive character . Along with it Taman Negara Tropical Forest of Penang is a one of tourist attraction spot in Penang, which is a really old forest and consider as one of oldest preserved forest in the world. Religion: The Penang city center George Town has almost all the historical building related to the all four biggest religion of world that is Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism. Little India is the place where you can find all the four Religion in one street. A Buddhist Temple, A hindu Temple, A catholic church and a Muslim Mosque. People: The people of Penang is undoubtly one of the main ingredients in representing Penang’s image. Its people are friendly and extremely helpful. For instance, when a Penang citizen noticed that you're a visitor, they would give you a helping hand and may go out of their way to assist you and guide you (People of Penang, 2012). Furthermore, English is well understood by the locals and it is also a subject that is taught in school. In some cases, there might be locals that could not converse fluently in English, but they would be able to understand and converse on basic terms. About half the population in Penang are Chinese while the main dialect is Penang Hokkien, Chinese is also one of the main languages spoken and taught in school. There are also a big percentage of Malay people living in the Penang society. Malays are concentrated in areas like Lebuc Acheh, Jalan Dato Keramat, Jalan Perak while other villages are increasing in numbers as well (People of Penang, 2012).
