EXAM #_______________ SEPULVEDA: Criminal Procedure I, Final Exam, Spring 2011 Page 14 of 15 Part II – Essay (50 Points) Recommended Time: 1 hour 30 minutes The following essay question should be answered in a blue book or typed. Officer Dolittle was on routine patrol at approximately 4 a.m. when he received a call from dispatch indicating that a 911 call had just been received from an anonymous citizen who relayed the following information: he just observed a tan, Nissan Altima, license number 4MQZ148, driving westbound on Highway 4 near the Franklin Canyon golf course; the car was weaving all over the road and he believed the driver to be intoxicated. He described the driver as a white female, approximately 30-35 years old, with long brown hair. Officer Dolittle responded to the area and saw a car matching the description, about two miles from the golf course. He did not notice anything unusual about the manner in which the car was being driven, but based upon the information from the citizen, he pulled the car over. The driver (hereinafter “Driver”) matched the description given by the citizen.
