Explain the relationship between transformational, transactional, and charismatic leadership. -Transactional leadership: focus on reward in exchange for motivation, productivity and effective task accomplishment -refers to the bulk of leadership models, which focus on the exchanges that occur between leaders and their followers -transformational: influencing attitudes and assumptions of staff. -Idealized influence -inspiration -intellectual stimulation -individual consideration -the process whereby a person engages with others and creates a connection that raises the level of motivation and morality in both the leader and the follower. -Charismatic: have a combination of charm and personal magnetism that contribute to a remarkable ability to get other people to endorse to their vision and promote it passionately -act in unique ways that have specific charismatic effects on their followers.
