Using the Chart Tools will allow you to adjust many attributes of the chart you created. The 10- item bulleted list on page 536 explains how to change the location, change the chart title, and add the X- and Y- axes titles. Common mistakes when using chart tools include not activating the chart before attempting to use the tools. People often make the mistake of going back to the Insert tab on the Ribbon to find the Chart Tools commands. However, the commands in the Insert tab are used only to create a chart. The Chart Tools tab will appear on the upper- right side of the Ribbon only when a chart is active.
