Slide 2 : Paul gives a brief summary of what NPR is, using “Npr--That’s New Podcasting Ruler” as a source Slide 3 : Nick discusses NPR’s switch to digital formats, using “Second Thoughts: Toward a Cri- tique of the Digital Divide” as a source Slide 4 : Zach introduces a video from YouTube that looks at the effects radio’s digital switch has on society Slide 5 : Zach talks about 2 new forms of radio (Satellite and HD Radio) Slide 6 : Paul discusses new initiatives that NPR is using with the internet Slide 7 : Nick explores the new opportunities that can be formed from internet radio Slide 8 : Zach expands upon a quote from “The Tranformation of NPR” that explains how NPR is taking he steps to organizing their content to make it more accessible.
