#10: Occupy Wall Street The Occupy Wall Street movement started in the United States but has since expanded into numerous countries around the world, including Canada. The protestors/occupiers are people protesting the distribution of wealth among the population. The occupiers feel that it is unfair how wealth is spread among people. Majority of the population has a very little percent of the wealth, while the extremely rich have majority of the wealth. I think that the protesters have some valid points, but at the same time, if wealth were more equally

However, I do think that they have done a good job of creating awareness and made the problem more prevalent in peoples’ minds. Perhaps we may see some change in the future but not any time soon....
