You also have to consider the language. Some people might think that research is conducted by the government and they could get in trouble. Questionnaire problems: translation issues might arise, you usually want to use the countries vernacular or slang which would make it even harder to write a good survey because you might not know the slang. Sampling problem: in other countries researchers might have problems even reaching the people they need (they might not have phones, not have internet, mail might not be reliable, women cant respond...etc) Resolving the problem the best way is to team up with local people to help you, espiecally in translation. Reverse translation: translate english to spanish and then another person translates back to english and see if that matches up with original english version.
