be considered unexcused unless you submit the request in writing

Missed Tests and Examinations: An alternate test or examination
will be given only when the student provides legitimate written
documentation from a professional (such as a medical doctor) and
only when I have been notified within 24 hours of the scheduled test
or examination time.
Conduct I am required to remind you of the UNCW Academic Honesty
Policy. Please consult the UNCW Code of Student Life for
details. Students are responsible for submitting their own
work. Students who cooperate on tests, examinations, or
assignments without authorization share the responsibility for
violation of academic principles. Students who engage in such
cooperation are subject to disciplinary action even when one of the
students is not enrolled in the course in which the violation occurred.
UNCW practices a zero-tolerance policy for violence and
harassment of any kind. For emergencies contact UNCW CARE at
962-2273, Campus Police at 962-3184, or Wilming ton Police at 911.
Students with disabilities who need accommodation in order to
complete all or part of the course requirements should make
arrangements with me as soon as possible. You will need to notify
me in writing and provide me with a copy of your accommodation
letter, which is available by registering with the Office of Disability
Services in DePaulo Hall.
