Mortgage, other lending facilities and credit services offered by licensed banks, restricted licence banks and deposit-taking companies authorized under the Banking Ordinance (Cap. 155) may be advertised. Care should be taken to avoid the public being misled as to the terms of the loan services being advertised. Review or Advice about the Stock Market or Investment Prospects 31. Subject to paragraphs 32 and 33 of this chapter or unless otherwise permitted (whether expressly or impliedly) under applicable law, no advertisement should contain any review of or advice about the stock market (including securities listed on the stock market), investment prospects, any investment advice or make any reference to specific securities, futures contracts or investment products. Investment Products 32. Advertisements for investment products requiring authorization by the SFC, including but not limited to unit trusts, mutual funds, investment-linked insurance schemes, pooled retirement funds, Mandatory Provident Fund products and immigration-linked investment schemes, are not acceptable unless these advertisements are authorized by the SFC pursuant to section 105 of the Sec...
