After the pressures have stabilized, read and record the shut-in drill pipe pressure, the shut-in casing pressure, and the pit gain. c. Check the drill pipe for trapped pressure. d. Calculate the exact mud weight necessary to kill the well e. Mix the kill mud in the suction pit. f. Prepare a kill sheet. g.
