Ability to close a minimum of three members of the stack, one of which must be spherical, w/o having to recharge the accumulator. 2. A total of 50% of the original fluid should remain as a reserve after accumulator activation. 3. A minimum pressure of 12psi is required to insure that the preventers remain close. 115 Fluid Density Control The primary well control tool available to the drilling supervisor is the hydrostatic pressure of the drilling fluid in the well.
