Marrakesh Accords: ● The Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF): this fund will finance projects relating to: capacity building; adaptation; technology transfer; climate change mitigation; and economic diversification for countries that are highly dependent on income from fossil fuels. ● Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF): this fund will support a special work program to assist LDCs. All Parties to the UNFCCC are also members of these ad hoc groups. For example, the Kyoto Protocol was negotiated by the Ad Hoc Group on the Berlin Mandate (AGBM). During its two year existence, the AGBM met more frequently than SBSTA and SBI, and was the main focus of UNFCCC activity.
