Value to environment: Based on manufacturer data, the first six months’ sales of EPEAT registered green comput­ ers in 2006 prevented approximately 50 million metric tons of air pollution including 1 million metric tons of GHGs—the equivalent of removing 852,000 cars from the road for a year.
