See Appendices 1 and 2 for the pinouts of the zener diodes and the 2N2222 and 2N4401 transistors. Different components may have different pinouts and should be checked before use. 2. Measure the voltage VZ from the zener diode at pin 3 of the op- amp. If this is not the correct zener diode voltage you may have a bad diode or have put the diode in backwards. See Appendix 2 for polarity. 3. Measure the DC voltages at the collector, base and emitter of Q1. The collector voltage should be at VC (the output from your filtered full- wave rectifier circuit) and should be higher than the base and emitter voltages.
