With a daily production of around 210,000 barrels of oil equivalents on average in 2007, ConocoPhillips Norge makes up approximately 10% of the oil and gas production in the global company. It is also the largest business unit in the company outside of the US, measured in the number of employees.11 ExxonMobil is the fourth largest oil and gas producer on the Norwegian continental shelf, holding ownership interests in more than 20 producing gas and oil fields, and approximately 10 % interest in Norwegian gas transportation and processing infrastructure.
