According to our readings in previous units we studied about financial statements and how to
read and analyze the same in order to study how companies are performing and to make further
decisions whether to invest more or to apply corrective actions. Also, we discussed about the
CVP and how to determine contribution margin and its advantage of calculating break-even point
and number of required products to be produced in order to keep the organization in profit or at
least not in a loss.
In this week we discussed about differential analysis and how to apply in order to approach
feasibility of some line of businesses or customers and how managers can proceed for further
decisions based on differential analysis.
All of above are related to quantitative data and related to numbers and money however, other
