John Rocha 10/30/07 Weather Forecast From the weather map of Monday, October 29, 2007, we can see that a high pressure system is heading our way for Tuesday. This high pressure is currently across the Midwest, and stretches as far east as southern Ohio. Also, the weather map indicates that the temperature coming with this high pressure system is in the 60’s, which means warmer temperatures than our current 50’s. From the North, we have cloud cover over most of Canada, and with this, we can see a cold front heading south towards Toronto. With this cold front, affected areas will be hovering around the 40 degree area. The main question is whether the northern cold front, of the western high pressure system will reach us first. My hypothesis is that the high pressure system will hit us first. First, I believe that the northern cold front will weaken as it goes over the relatively warm great lakes. Of course, unlike land, water heats and cools far more gradual. This causes it to be relatively warmer in the winter time, and relatively cooler in
