Objectives 4-7 are for Project 2.2 Description One way to characterize a collection of numerical measurements is to calculate relevant statistics. For example, consider the temperature measured at noon in Norman, Oklahoma taken over a period of five consecutive days. We would expect the characteristics of these measured temperature values to be different depending on the time of year that the measurements are taken. For example, we would expect the mean 5-day temperature to be higher in August than in January.
