T 5 F Learning to Teach and Coach For the past two falls I have been coaching a 7 th and 8 th grade Little Griz football team. We were called the Broncos and I have learned as much from those kids as they have learned from me. I was the head coach and had all the responsibilities that came along with that position, such as organizing every practice, setting dates for team parties, getting team picture day set up and, most important and stressful of all, dealing with the parents. This experience is easily the most rewarding, difficult, fun, stressful, worthwhile and frustrating thing I have ever done, and I absolutely love it. I learned many valuable things while coaching those kids. While some skills came second nature to me, many I had to learn the hard way. One of the abilities I gained while coaching is the ever-important skill of organizing. Before this experience I had a hard enough time organizing myself, much less a group of kids. Now I am not only able to keep myself organized but also organize a large group of kids while simultaneously
