PROJECT MANAEMENT FOR ENTERPRISE 4 Introduction The E39 Coastal Highway Route is Norwegian’s largest infrastructure project which covers 1110km Trondheim and Kristiansand. The project was confirmed by the parliament in 2017 and it is expected to be completed by 2035 ( Taljegard et al. 2017). The improved coastal highway route would eliminate the need for ferry crossing leading to a closer connection of cities using advanced technological resources like floating tubes and existing suspensions ( Dunham, 2016). In other words, the E39 Coastal Highway Route project would thrive the regional business by connecting different markets allowing Norway to dominate as the regional largest exporter. The report will attempt to evaluate the different utilized in the case for E39 Coastal Highway Route. Objectives i. To critically appraise the aspects that may influence the continuity of the E39 Coastal Highway Route project through risk analysis and environmental assessment tool. ii. To conduct the assessment of strengths and weaknesses of planning tools that would be effective in monitoring and controlling the project iii. To critically perform stakeholder’s assessment of the project and discuss the alternative strategies for stakeholder project management. iv. To critically discuss the viability of the recommended Prince2 methodology for the E39 Coastal Highway Route project. v. To provide a project plan with a schedule for completing the E39 Coastal Highway Route project. Project Continuity Risk Plan Approach A risk management plan is vital for the continuity of the E39 Coastal Highway Route project hence the project manager has a task to identify ways of responding to various challenges that may interfere with a successful completion. The risk planning approach for the E39 Coastal Highway Route project can include identification of potential loss exposures, evaluation of the risk, and examining the applicable option the E39 Coastal Highway Route ( Ellevset 2014).
