Richard Little Mrs. Boyer English 160 11726 November 9, 2006 Kings Scary Essay….oooooo In the essay Everything You Need to Know abut Writing, by Stephen King, King explains to the reader his personal experiences in his life that has lead him to become the Science Fiction writer that he is today. King explains how his former editor of his high school paper has helped him develop the writing skills that he still holds today. King being known for his suspenseful and frightening writing skill plays on the same basic skills in this essay; possibly unconsciously King seems to still be able to frighten the reader with the way he words this essay. He plays on the fears of most writers such as the fear of not being able to succeed in writing. King goes on to talk about being talented to succeed. Reading this any reader would be worried that they might not be talented. Along with his frightful word play King works to his own writing advantage and creates suspense for the reader to continue to be interested.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
