Physics 111: Introduction to Physics Class Time and Location: MWF 11:00~11:50 am Room 150, Science Tower Instructor: Mark Shapiro Office: Room 227, Science Tower Office Phone: Ext. 2044 Office Hours: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 pm - 3:00pm Web Page: not yet up... email: [email protected] Homework: Weekly assignments (problem sets) will be posted online every Friday. They will be due the following Friday. (The only exception is Assignment #1, which is due Monday, Sept. 10. ) Problems may be done in groups but should be written up individually. Multiple-choice questions should be done on your own. Assignments will not be accepted late. back to top Testing: There will be three quizzes during the semester that you will take via computer. There will be a three-day window to take each quiz after they are announced. There will be two in-class exams: Friday, Oct. 5 and Friday, November 9. There is a three-hour final exam on ??
