When it comes to any court case, it's pretty much all about which lawyer can lie and manipulate the witnesses the best. It's a cock show that somehow almost always leaves the truth of what actually happened to be ignored by all, including the judge. Adults lie consciously in court. Children lie subconsciously in court. I say this because most of the lies children tend to tell in court, the children don't know that it's a lie. Implanted or added memories are a serious problem with huge reprecussions when it comes to child witnesses. A child's response is all about their need to please when it comes to questions from adults. Social workers are actually the first and the worst part of the interview process. Therapists and detectives who conduct the interviews after the social worker tend not to help the matters. I have a great example of an implanted memory case.
