Sophia Pathways for College Credit – College ReadinessSuccess Narrative`Who Am I Now:I recently graduated from Jersey College with my Associates in Nursing. I was an LPNfor 7 years before continuing my education and successfully completing a bridge LPN to RNprogram. As an LPN I’ve worked in Mental health, Drug and Alcohol inpatient rehab, OutpatientChemotherapy, Women’s Homeless Shelter and Primary Care. Today I am a ProfessionalRegistered Nurse. I honestly feel like I graduated at the perfect time. I passed my NCLEX inSeptember of 2019 and was offered a job in ICU in November of 2019. Being an LPN definitelygave me a solid foundation to carry out my skills and acclimate to the ICU quickly. I am proud tosay that I was prepared for what was to come in March of 2020, when COVID-19 came to theUS and crippled our country. Since then I’ve done Drive-Thru swab testing (rain, sleet, snow)
