Multiple gods means multiple shrines and temples. b. Private shrines in homes are common i. Pilgrimage is important, many important Holy sites ii. most important is the Ganges river. c. Food and behavior laws i. Cows are sacred so beef is forbidden. ii. Strict Hindus are vegetarian iii. Very strict Hindus clear the path of bugs etc. d. Marriage and socialization within castes only, i. Arranged marriages are still common in rural areas. ii. Much less strict in urban areas 1. Harder to tell classes apart Language 1.95% of world speaks one of the top 100 languages
