Innovation a. Cultural change within a society i. Enhanced by a high population density ii. Also influenced by technology b. Usually found in industrialized societies 3. Diffusion a. Where another society affects your own b. There are 3 types: i. Relocation – physical movement from place to place 1. How cuisine and religions are introduced to different countries ii. Contagious Expansion – when something starts at a single place and moves out 1. Similar to the way diseases are spread
