Growing up, many kids aretaught to believe that you can get any job you want with a college degree. However, with manythings changing in today’s world, this might not be the case at all. The 2013 Survey ofEmployers states that employers are now looking for people who have more than just a collegedegree. Instead, they are more concerned with hiring people who have other skill sets, like beinginnovative and a critical thinker. So, in today’s world are college degrees alone enough to obtainyour dream job?Getting employed is a lot harder than just having a degree. Employers are now starting tolook for employees with a wide range of qualities. The2015 Employer Survey Datastatesthat95% of all employers surveyed preferred hiringpeople with critical skills that can bringinnovation to the workplace.
