As an organization that operates and functions just likeExelon, we take this situation very serious. This memo summarizes the findings of thecompany’s organizational culture, climate, and ethical decision-making processes here at ExelonCorporation. The culture and climate are closely related and can impact each other.Culturerefers to the way an organization function, while the climate refers to shared awareness of howthe company operates (Kuppler, 2015). Ethics in a corporate environment plays a significant roleon the effect of organizational culture and climate, which means that all its employees areresponsible for their actions.Organization Culture and ClimateAccording to SHRM (Shrm, 2021), organizational culture refers to the wayindividuals are expected to behave within the organization. This consists of the beliefs and valuesthat has been set in place by the leaders and executive within the company. The culture of Exelonrevolves around inclusivity and growing an environment where its employees can thrive, and thedevelopment of programs within the company rises at an all-time high due to the provision of theopportunities to create and share ideas. Exelon is a huge advocate on pushing for thedevelopment of its people. The company continues to push for innovation, which makes it a hugepart of their culture.
