Some sense staring from rear, tests find A science program makes the claim after experiment. Dennis Bueckert. The Vancouver Sun . Vancouver, B.C.: Oct 25, 1997. pg. A.4 OTTAWA -- Experiments organized by a well- known television science program suggest there is a statistically significant probability that people can tell when they are being stared at from behind. Data support the theory that people become connected by “morphic fields” when one looks at the other, Jagg Griffith, a producer of the science program discovery.ca., said in an inter- view Friday. Viewers were asked to conduct 20 trials lasting 10-seconds each in which one person would either stare or not stare at a second who was turned away from the first. The second person would report after each trial whether he or she felt stared at. Viewers reported 181 correct responses and 151 incorrect responses, producing an accu- racy rate of 54.5 per cent, Griffith said in an interview. The results are statistically signifi- cant, she said.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
