Race  by origin / country of origin Ethnicity  culture, value beliefs, and principles 3. How do you racially and ethnically identify yourself? How do others identify you? She identifies as Irish-American but others identify her as American 4. How do you think race affects opportunities in the United States? Based on her experience if you are fluent in another language you have a better opportunity with employment Believes that one’s race affects career due to the opportunities of whites 5. Has your race or immigrant status affected the way others view you/treat you? Barriers to education, occupation, language, etc.?
