Section 1: Project Goals and ScopeHere at XYZ Banking out goals is to keep our customers and their money safe. With thepandemic of Covid-19, one way for us to help combat with the spread of this deadly virus is totransition to mostly online banking. For us to complete this task, we will have to move fromtraditional banking to a new way of banking. Some of those features will include live video chatwith a bank teller or account specialist, bank representative messaging 24hours a day, 7 days aweek., and the ability to manage any of your financial accounts whenever you choose.Section 2: Project Management ProcessPlanningThe Project Manager will create the project plan, project charter, project schedule andprovide consistent updates with upper management. The Project Manager will also create theproject scope statement. We will use the scope statement to create our project team. The ProjectSponsor will be tasked with approving the project plan, budget, ensuring the project hasnecessary resources, and communicating to the organization the projects goals and scope. While there are many risks with starting an online bank, we will start with the knownrisks. Since security is a huge factor with the project, this could have the potential to raise thecost and effect the time schedule. A Work Breakdown Schedule, Gantt Chart, along with weeklymeetings will be used to help mitigate any issue with this. If needed the Project Sponsor will becalled in to help with the situation. Scope Creep is another known risk that we want to beSoftware Development Quality Plan: IP53
cognizant of. To combat this risk, we want to assure that our project scope is well defined, and allchanges be submitted and approved. No matter how small the change is.
