Readings: The Land-Health Concept and Conservations (pp 218-226) From A. Leopold. 1999. For the Health of the Land. Prologue (pp 1-24) From: Diamond, J. 2005. Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed . New York: Viking Press. Directions: Answer the questions below using the following guidelines: 1 The paper should be written independently . 2 Two page limit – you should be able to succinctly extract the main points or details in clear and concise paragraphs. Use quotes sparingly, but if you do, be accurate and include page references. It’s better to use your own words to communicate information from the readings to answer questions. 3 One-inch margins 4 Double spaced 5 12 point font 6 No late papers will be accepted.
