Allison Menor Prof. Horohoe Hist109 T/TH 9:15 Short Answer Assignment #1 1.) North Street is located on the Northeast corner of Hudson’s Point  near Salem Street.  2.) The Boston Powder House is located near Fox Hill on the Western  side of the city. I think its safe to say that if the Powder House were  located near a hill, it would inevitably be in a big field that could be  subject to enemy attack. Furthermore, Boston was most likely  prepared for any outbreaks. 3.) The first portrait of Paul Revere was taken when he was around  39. Paul’s pose is extremely serious and he looks as though he is  pondering. I believe he wanted to be viewed here as someone with  intelligence and importance. However, this clothing is somewhat  casual so perhaps he wanted to appeal as someone who was for the  people. He is holding an antique teapot and is surrounded by  numerous tools he could’ve used to either fix or create it. Paul must  have chosen to use this prop because he silently participated in the  Boston Tea Party this exact year.  4.) The second portrait of Paul Revere was probably taken when he  was around 81. I found it interesting that in this second picture he is  much more angelic looking. He is dressed in a suit that is much more

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
