Be awareif your client is physically able to complete the fitness test in their fitness assessment, if not makethe proper modifications to fit their needs.Part 1: Self-AssessmentThe health-related fitness assessment I conducted consisted of the Rockport Walk test, thePush-up test, the Sit and Reach test, Body Mass Index (BMI), and Waist to Hip Ratio. Although Iam currently working through an injury, I did not have any limitations preventing me from anyof the test. I did not have to modify any of my test because of my injury. Some precautions Ifollowed during the tests we to warm up before starting and stretch in between test.During the Rockport Walk test, I had to walk as fast as possible to complete a one milewalk as fast as possible. This test measures your VO2 max (max volume of oxygen uptake).The Push-up test was evaluates muscular endurance for the upper body. For females you placeyour knees on the floor and execute as many repetitions as possible without pausing.The Sit andreach test evaluated the flexibility of my lower back and hamstrings by having me sit on theground and reach as far possible between my legs (straight, 10 to 12 inches apart), withoutbending my knees.The Body Mass Index Measurements use the results of my height and weightratio to determine if I am the correct weight for my height and if it is a healthy proportion. TheWaist to Hip ratio measured the narrowest point between my ribs and hips and also measured themost protruding point on my buttocks. This can determine how that fat is distributed.
