The channel-group configuration is the actual channelization of the DSOs. DSOs (timeslots) 1through 11 have been placed into service for data purposes. The first timeslot is associated withchannel-group 0. Timeslots 6 through 11 have been associated with channel-group 8.The channel-group configurations allow you to create logical interfaces to which you canassign protocol attributes such as IP address, Internetwork Packet eXchange (IPX) networkaddress, and so on. Notice the configuration designates interface Serial 4/1:0. The 0 in thatcommand ties this logical interface back to channel-group 0, with which we associated only asingle DSO. In addition, we created interface serial 4/1:8. The 8 in the command ties back tochannel-group 8, with which we associated six DSOs. The aggregate bandwidth available tothat logical interface is the number of timeslots assigned multiplied by 64,000 bps.If you are planning to use Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)rInterior
