2Lifelong Learning and Achieving a higher level of Education in NursingThe report published by IOM about Future of Nursing makes recommendations forlifetime knowledge and accomplishing advanced levels of education. The purpose of this paper isto review the recommendations made by IOM for accomplishing higher levels of education, theopportunities found on increasing education level and how it can affect competitiveness in thecurrent job market, as well as the relationship of continuing nursing education to competency,attitudes, and knowledge. Options in the job market based on educational levelNursing is an energetic occupation that is subject to fast paced in health careestablishment, hereafter the need for in-service training plans for nurses. Newly hired registerednurses need in-service training in order to inform them concerning the latest growths in nursingpreparation. And the relationship of education actions and current instruction of staff are usedinterchangeably to characterize what has conventionally been called in-service and currentinstruction. These terms separate as unlike in the previous are now commonly recognized ascontinuing advance and instruction of staff. Continuing education (CE) is used to largely defineagendas planned for adult learners who are looking at for individual or proficient progress(Thomas, 2018). You might receive this slogan used to refer to advanced degree options, but forhealthcare experts, the term often narrates the current instruction that’s essential for preservingthe state license.
