It is then that boys realize they can neverbe a girl or a “mommy.” Children begin to play with other children of the same sex and avoid anything opposite sex relatedin fear of being teased. Their behavior conforms to the image society gives them. Young males try to act tough and strong. They gain pleasure from causing mischief and being rebellious. Boys do not get in trouble for most of these situations because of how they travel in large groups, and an authoritive figure cannot punish them all. Girls try and avoid trouble since they travel in smaller packs.
