President Harry Truman once said, “ Men make history, and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better. What Harry meant by this is that a leader should be clear in his actions to make positive changes for his nation, great leaders will go down in history as men that helped shape the world. In the last two presidencies of the United States, the U.S. has had two very different leaders. One a democrat named Bill Clinton and the other a Republican named George Bush. In this essay I will be comparing both of their presidencies concerning the economy of the United States and discussing how one of them has made better choices than the other. Thus, Bill Clinton will go down in history as the better president because he made better choices dealing with the United States Economy.
