Introduction to International Studies Reflection Onisifor Prisecaru - 20432916 I walked into my first Introduction to International Studies lecture with expectations that this would be a great course and after looking back, it quite was a great course. From the first lecture where we covered Foreign Policy to the last lecture where we covered Global Aid and Development, I learned interesting facts that enhanced my understanding of the crazy world we live in. In particular a couple things really stood out to me. Firstly, the concept of realism and idealism was the most interesting and informative concept I learned in this course. By learning of the role that Idealism and Realism play in a country’s foreign policy, my understanding of the current world issues was taken to another level. For example, after analyzing the foreign policy of the United States of America, I now understand why they are so insanely touchy when it comes to security. The hard
