If you hadn ʼ t noticed, it has been no less than excruciatingly cold in the past week. In lieu of the recently painfully cold weather my experiential learning event (Mount Ashwabay Free Ski) was canceled, so instead of grazing down icy slopes and cutting through drifts with two harden ±berglass blades I spent a cozy evening in the CSE with the Biology tutor and a non-traditional student named Donna. The reason I am a Teacher Education major and not a Biology major is simple: I am terrible at biology. Although I do recognize the need to have basic skills in all subjects in order to teach the youth of tomorrow, science has never been my strong suit and I don ʼ t know that it ever will be. My slightly lacking skills in Biology have lead to some more than lacking grades in my Concepts of Biology class. I decided that the best route to improvement was the path over the Fenega bridge to the CSE Chemistry Department for a meeting with the tutor.
