4IntroductionIn recent decades, the growth of the industry has seen a shift in performance.Traditionally, it is a company that ensures that its employees can meet the company's long-term goals. However, now employees are arguing that they are - and should be involved indeveloping their business. careers have been described in various ways. A career can bedescribed as a sequence of positions held within an occupation (Noe, 1996, pp123).These changes have changed the way companies handle business growth. Careerdevelopment today is seen as a form of partnership with staff. This is an integral part of thecompany's attractive and final strategy. Therefore, it will not be considered if manycandidates do not offer a job to the company as a fundamental part of its service.Development and job opportunities can help give companies a competitive edge-profit byattracting and retaining the best-performing employees. But progress as well jobopportunities may not be available to most companies, and if they do, they are available itdoesn't seem to work (Noe, 1996, pp124).Part oneSelf-AssessmentPerformance appraisalPerformance appraisals assist employees and their managers in developing anemployee development plan with additional training and additional responsibilities andidentifying potential employees' shortcomings (DeNisi et al., 2017, pp421). Ideally,performance appraisals are not the only time in the year when managers and employeescommunicate employee contributions. However, many ongoing discussions help keepeveryone on the same page, help build stronger relationships between employees andmanagement, and help turn annual reviews into stressful ones.
