Some of it is calcified Reproductive system: Males reach maturity ~11yrs; females ~18-24yrs Ovoviviparous (producing live young from internal eggs) Gestation lasts 22-24 months Mating during winter months o Males: clasper releases sperm to female o Females: cloaca opening for reproductive tract
