Wherein, it was established as Democratic and Republican Government - The Malolos Constitution is separated into three branches namely: the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch. - The 1935 Constitution also indicated a Democratic and Republican Government. - The powers of the 1935 Constitution were separated into three powers, legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch. - The president was bestowed of executive power while the other 2 such as the legislative and judicial power was bestowed to the National Assembly and Supreme Court. - The 1973 Constitution was separated into three powers namely: First, the legislative power which was bestowed to the National assembly; 2nd is the Executive power, granted to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet; Lastly is the Judiciary power which was entrusted to the Supreme Court. - The 1973 Constitution has loopholes that allowed the president to preserve power. - The 1987 Constitution was indicated Democratic and Republican as its form of government - The Constitution was separated into three powers such as the executive, a bicameral legislature, and the judiciary. - Three independent constitutions were also formed such as the Commission on Elections, Civil Service Commission, and Commission on Audit. Provision on Civil Liberties - There were 27 articles indicated which elaborate the popular sovereignty of Filipinos and as well as natural rights. - Limitation of Criminal procedure and rights of the accused. - Freedom and equality of beliefs, - It contains 20 articles that details the bill of rights of the individuals.
