The Book ThiefI would like to say that Markus Zusak’s “The Book Thief” is a life-changing and emotion-stirringbook. The fact that the book narrated by death made it very interesting; it had viewed the worldof humans in such a different and unique perspective. And the reason I found myself attracted tothis book is because it was very beautifully written, like the deep and detailed descriptions ofcolors and emotions. Also, I really like historical fiction, it takes me to another space filled withvarious people. Especially in “The Book Thief” I got to know so much about Nazi Germany. Fromthe Jew parades to how propaganda can mislead so many people. It is just so amazing howbooks can take you on a magical journey, allowing you experience emotions you never felt, andlet you learn life lessons. The life lesson I learned from this book was, even though there mightbe bad consequences, you have to stand out for what you believe to be righteous. Like Hans
