PUNZALAN Instructor LITE-LIVING IN THE IT ERA LITE- Living in the Information Technology Era Course Introduction Living in the Information Age will examine communication and information technologies with particular emphasis on the Internet and its components and in particular how they are used by the Millennial Generation. The goal of the course is to understand how the communication and information technologies evolve and the cultural, economic, political and social implications of such technologies for society. The course will also discuss how individuals, media organizations and corporations employ the Internet for their benefit.

Retrieved from communication-technology ASSESSMENT There are three aspects to the assessment for this course. The first is the Assessment Exercises/ Activities in each unit. The second is Online recitations to your course facilitator, and the third is the end of course examination. You are advised to do all the assessment exercises with all sincerity as that will assist you greatly. In tackling the assignments, you are expected to apply the information and techniques gathered from the course. The Assignments must be submitted for formal assessment in accordance with the deadlines stated in the presentation schedule and the assignment file. The work you submit for assessment will account for 30% of the total course score.
