The trauma of sexual assault stays with the victim for years, even after the incident has passed. Many sexual assault incidents involve alcohol and date rape drugs. Many students at the university want to experiment with a variety of things, including alcohol. We can’t ban the consumption of alcohol, especially if students are at the legal drinking age, but we can provide a method for students to determine if their drink has been spiked.
