BMAL710The case study takes a look into a search firm by the name of On-Ramps and its employee, Amy Werner. This particular employee has played an important role in the company’s growth. However, Amy Werner was in the process of obtaining a degree in social work which has led her to be studying as a full-time student. Her classes had become so demanding that it could not be possible for her to continue working as normal. The firm valued the employee so much that they made alternative arrangements for her to accomplish her work after hours and over the weekend. Although On-Ramps is not involved in social work, they are looking for creative ways to keep Amy on and integrate those skills into the firm’s needs.How the firm treats Amy Werner’s unique case is motivational. Her supervisor wants to see her excel and grow as an individual and a professional. The firm and her supervisor values her to the degree that they are doing whatever it takes to support her.
