1Net neutrality prohibits internet service providers from speeding up, slowing down, orblocking Internet traffic based on its source, ownership, or destination. Net neutralityadvocates argue that it should be illegal for broadband service providers to charge contentproviders for sending data down the broadband provider's high-speed lines no matter howmuch bandwidth that content uses.
